3M 425 Aluminium Foil Tape
Aluminum foil tape is a 5 mil nominal dead soft aluminum foil backing combined with a transparent acrylic adhesive designed to seal the cut edges of 3M Duct Wrap and Interim mats to complete the total encapsulation.

3M Smoke and Sound Tape
Ideal for providing a smoke and sound seal for construction
joints and through penetration applications in non-fire-rated
wall and floor assemblies, including smoke partitions and
acoustic assemblies. When installed properly, this material is
used to provide a smoke seal to mitigate the spread of smoke
and toxic gas, as well as help, reduce the transmission of sound
(refer to installation instructions — may require mineral wool
or backer rod to achieve STC ratings).
