3M Standard Kit consists of following:
- 3M Scotch 23 tapes in 19 mm x 9 meter x 0.76 mm thick - 01 roll
- 3M Tartan 1710 19 mm x 18.3 meter x 0.177 mm thick - 01 roll
Ideal for providing a smoke and sound seal for construction
joints and through penetration applications in non-fire-rated
wall and floor assemblies, including smoke partitions and
acoustic assemblies. When installed properly, this material is
used to provide a smoke seal to mitigate the spread of smoke
and toxic gas, as well as help, reduce the transmission of sound
(refer to installation instructions — may require mineral wool
or backer rod to achieve STC ratings).
