3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 723D features 3M Precision Shaped Grain to deliver longer life and a faster, more consistent cut than aluminum oxide belts. The flexible J-weight backing offers optimal flexibility for removing defects and surface imperfections, even on tight contours and complex parts such as medical instruments.
Flexible Backing
3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 723D is constructed with a blend of 3M Precision Shaped Grain (PSG) and premium aluminum oxide to deliver increased durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives. We back it with a flexible cotton cloth that easily follows contours and can wrap around parts to avoid over-grinding. Flexibility also makes this belt a good choice when using a soft contact wheel or slack of belt.
